Head of Events - Rabia Malik

Hello! My name is Rabia Malik and I study law. I will be acting as the Head of Events for MUN UZH in the academic year 25/26. I have enjoyed being part of MUN since my high school years, which is why I joined this association a year ago and have continued ever since. Looking for a valuable extracurricular activity to improve my debating and speaking skills, I also found many friends within MUN UZH that I now deeply cherish.
The connections that MUN fosters are, without a doubt, my favourite thing about it. Oration, knowledge of world affairs, and the ability to improvise come naturally the longer one participates, but the friendships and links are what truly endure. MUN challenges people to leave their comfort zone until it becomes familiar, which I see as a crucial development during the university years.
As Head of Events, I will be responsible for organizing and overseeing all events and socials outside of weekly sessions. I will also ensure the smooth execution of our beer delegations. I look forward to fulfilling my role to the best of my abilities.
