Hi, my name is Sophie and I study Law in second year of bachelor. I have been a member since February 2026 and I am the Head of External Affairs for this academic year 2026/27.
I became a member of MUN UZH since I wanted to improve my public speaking and improvising skills. Thereby I enjoy picking a new country every topic block, while being able to represent widely different stances.
Additionally I really liked the social environment of MUN especially with the beer delegations after each session and the opportunity to go to conferences.
As your Head of External Affairs I’m responsible for our platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, the website aswell as merch.
Additionally my task is to seek support from foundations, firms, and the University to finance our excursions and general operations such as weekly sessions and speaker events.
