Head of Fundraising - Matteo Sander

Hi, my name is Matteo Sander, I study Economic History and Moral Philosophy at UZH with a background in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Apart from studying I like to go swimming and skiing.

I became a member in September 2024, the same time I started my studies at UZH. I really enjoy the discussions about world politics, the socials, and the chance to take on roles and defend sometimes very unpopular positions. What makes MUN UZH so special are its members, who were very welcoming when I joined, and its vibrant event calendar spanning the academic year. What I like most is the combination of diving into difficult topics with a fun and relaxed atmosphere in the committee and at events.

As Head of Fundraising, my task is to seek support from foundations, firms, and the University to finance our excursions and general operations such as weekly sessions and speaker events. I am happy to answer questions about MUN UZH and discuss partnerships to support our educational work.
